The niche that became a business
The roofs traditional roofing often leaves behind.
For a rusty manufactured home roof, owners are often told either that the company doesn't service that roof type or that replacement is the available option. That can leave a restorable roof without a practical restoration path.
Brian built Wellman to fill that gap. Mobile home, manufactured home and metal roofs remain the specialty; compatible RV and camper roof systems, houses and small commercial buildings get the same disciplined system and the same honest assessment.
It's focused work designed to preserve a sound roof instead of replacing it prematurely. That's the whole idea.
How it started
Wellman started with one roof.
Brian took on a rusted metal roof on a manufactured home, cleaned it down, treated the rust, sealed every seam and penetration, and coated it. Watching that roof come back is what convinced him there was a real business in doing this work properly — and doing it himself.
